Do you know japanese policemen very strict, especially with foreigner? I think maybe many foreigners come to Japan. In Japan, many foreigner make accident and some foreigners make overstay. Then makes japanese policemen very strict. In Japan, Internasional Driving Licence from Indonesia (makes from Ikatan Motor Indonesia) can use in Japan only 1 year. More than 1 year, if you make again, it means illegal. You must make Japanese Driving Licence if you stay more than 1 year in Japan. 

Utsunomiya is second most accident in Japan after Hokaido.It isnot easy if we want to get Japanese driving Licence in Utsunomiya. In Utsunomiya, have 2 type for testing, writing test and driving test. Maybe writing test you can pass only 1 time, but driving test normally take until 10 times. If you arenot lucky, maybe you can take driving test more than 10 times. Maybe only American foreigner and Korean foreigner take driving test only 1 time. I think betwen Japan, America and Korea make aggreement about that. Another city except Hokaido and Utsunomiya, test for Japanese Driving Licence isnot strict.   

In Japan, garbage disposal is very important. You must know when　ｔhrow garbage, because different type garbage you must seperate. In Japan has three type garbage, recycle garbage, unrecycle garbage and burnable garbage. Recycle garbage likes book, paper, can, bottle or cloth(if its good), unrecycle garbage likes vas, battery, kitchen equipment, umbrella etc, and burnable garbage likes kitchen garbage (from food, vegetable, fish and meat).

Every region different day for throwing garbage. At my region, every monday and thursday for burnable garbage, wednesday for unrecycle garbage and friday for recycle garbage.  

But for big garbage, if you want throw garbage, you must pay. Example you want throw car, you must pay 20.000 JPN to garbage disposal station. If you throw bycle, cupboard, chair, table, and another bigthing, you also pay money.    

I think its a good idea, because city office doesnot need much money for burning garbage and also good for resource.  

In japan, the subject is very interesting. When my husband wants to legalize his master degree certificate, his professor was so excited. Cause, the Japan system do not recognize a legalized certificate, the copy is enough. Good name of the professor or teacher can make guarantee their student. It means that japan system is entrusted society, no need to make a legalized copy, because the copy itself is sufficient. 

In Indonesia, every body makes a legalized certificate for going to school or job, the copy of certificate is not enough. Why? because Indonesia system is low trust society.             

Japan is developed country. Income per capita Japan is higher than Indonesia. But you know, japanese people always find something cheap and also good quality. In mall or market sometime makes campaign sale. Grand opening at Yodobashi camera make sale electronic product, like 50　percent cheaper from normal. Sometimes they stand in line, because so many people want to buy cheapthing but quantity for that not many.  

In market, for example Tairaya, Kawachi, or Bellmall, they sometimes provide for special price. At Kawachi, every week in Thuesday and Wednesday, they make sale for something. And they inform the news in pamflet. At Tairaya, every week in Thuesday and Wednesday, it sometimes sale for vegetable. At night, they make also sale for food (like sushi, sashimi, etc), fish or vegetable that becomes bad condition if the food is kept long time.

In Japan also has some second use store, like Book Off (for book) and Hard Off (for hardwear, sport equipment, music equipment, cloth, bag, bycycle and etc). If we clever to find something, we find good quality and cheap. Somethime we find newthing, cause japanese people didnot use.I think In Indonesia not so easy to find. When I came back in Indonesia last year, I saw at Gramedia Book Store to sell imported book from Japan expensive. Sometime in Japan, I find that book in Book off 3 fold or 4 fold cheaper than in Indonesia. I saw at Gramedia Book Store, that book not new(second use).   

You know, allthing in Japan expensive than Indonesia, but if devide with salary this is cheap. For example salary in Indonesia for bachelor 1.000.000 IDR and then for eat 1 time 7.000 IDR. But in Japan for bachelor 180.000 JPY and then for eat 1 time 500 JPY. 1 JPY equal with 90 IDR. You see, which cheaper? At Japan also, with 500 JPY food is healty food. Because somefood, japanese people called "bento" include fish or meat and vegetables.                  

For prepare japanese food is interesting.Japanese people clever to prepare that and if someone see that food, wants to eat. They serve food by model but look like real. Somepeople says model with "clay". But for indonesian people, some japanese food not tasty. I call not tasty, cause sometime no taste. Sometime, have taste but only put soyu, like Indonesian souce bean but salty. If eat sushi ( few rice with upside put raw fish) or sashimi (raw fish), taste only from soyu, wasabi (green souce but if eat strong for nose) and ginger. And you know, japanese people doesnot use many oil like fry. Cause they know its not good for their body. In Indonesia, this is opposite. Indonesia people like spice, hot and need many oil or coconut milk. In Japan, they like fish, specially raw fish and vegetable. In Japan, fish is expensive than meat (in Indonesia, this is opposite). Sometime I see in Japan television, they are fishing and after get fish, they cut fish become slice and eat with soyu. 

Gioza from Utsunomiya is very famous in Japan. Gioza, look like food from China. Indonesia people always call siomay. Inside gioza, sometime put meat or fish. But in japan, inside always put pork taste. Cause I cannot eat gioza from bought, I make gioza myself.

Misoshiru, the kind of sup. That spice make from miso (soy bean mix until soft then make fermentation)  and put tofu and vegetable.  It delicious when prepared hot.   

Kemaren, bareng temen2 yang sama2 belajar bahasa jepang di asrama ngadain Ichigogari.Ichigogari adalah metik strawbery (ichigo=strawbery, gari=metik). Ichigogari yang aku ikuti biasaya metik strawbery dikala panen sudah selesai. Setelah panen selesai, pohon strawbery akan digantikan dan yang baru. Ichigogari kemaren adalah ichigogari ke-6 yang aku ikuti 2 kali bareng Tochigi International Association, 1 kali bareng perkumpulan Indonesia-Jepang Utsunomiya,1 kali bareng Rani, 1 kali dengan orang2 Universitas. Strawbery di Utsunomiya adalah strawbery yang terenak di Jepang.

Yesterday, with my friend from Japanese class at dormitory, we made Ichigogari. Ichigogari, it means pick strawbery byself. With yesterday, six times I picked strawbery. Two times with Tochigi Internasional Association, one time with Indonesian Japan Association at Utsunomiya, one time with Rani, 1 time with student from University. Strawbery at Utsunomiya very famous in Japan cause delicious.  

Kino, kaikan no nihongo no benkyo no tomodachi to isyoni ichigogari wo simasta. Ichigogari wa ichigo totte no koto imi des. roku kai, ichigo gari wo sanka siteimas. Mae wa ni kai TIA to isyoni.I kai Utsunomiya tsukokyoukai to isyoni, i kai Rani san to isyoni, i kai Utsunomiya daigaku no gakusei to isyoni.  Nihon dewa, Utsunomiya no Ichigo wa yumena ichigo. Amai dakara. 

Strawbery kemaren bareng temen2 dari Peru (Greta san), Laos, Bangladesh (Nipa san), Gabon(Sisil san) dan Indonesia(Tuti san) serta tidak ketinggalan guru bahasa jepang(Shibuya sensei, Seiki sensei, Yamane sensei, Takahasi sensei dan Miyamoto sensei) 

Yesterday, I picked strawbery with friends from Peru(Greta san), Laos, Bangladesh (Nipa san), Gabon (Sisil san) and from Indonesia (Tuti san). Japanese Teacher, Shibuya sensei, Seiki sensei, Yamane sensei, Takahasi sensei and Miyamoto sensei also came.

Hari ini cuaca cerah dan hangat, maklum sudah 5 hari mendung melulu.Hari ini pula di Perpustakaan Utsunomiya ada kegiatan Oshibana. Kegiatan membuat aneka pernik dari bunga yang dikeringkan. Sudah 3 kali aku mengikutinya dari membikin kartupos, tataan gelas, gantungan kunci dan gantungan untuk dekorasi rumah. Oshibana hari ini selain aku diikuti juga Matsui sensei, Tanaka san, An, Ko san, Muna, dan Kato san.

Today is good weather and warm. Five days before,the weather had cloudy. Today, I am going to Utsunomiya Libary because I have Oshibana Class.

Oshibana is the Japanese art of making pictures with pressed plants. Introduce ours to the art of oshibana by making book markers, stationary, cards, small pictures that can be framed, etc.

Three times, I join with Oshibana class. Today in oshibana class, participant not only me, but also Matsui sensei, Tanaka san, An, Ko san, Muna and Kato san.

Kyo wa ii tenki de atatakai des. itsukan mae ni jyuto kumo datta. Kyo, oshibana kurasu aru kara, watasi wa utsunomiya tosyokan e iku yotei des. Oshibana kurasu de, watasitachi wa kei holda to hagaki wo tsukuta durai flowa kara. San kai, watasiwa oshibana kurasu wo sanka sita. Kyo wa, oshibana kurasu de, watasi dake sankasite janakute, demo Matsui sensei to Tanaka san to An san to Ko san to Muna san to Kato san mo iru. 

Dengan oshibana, dapat membuat sesuatu yang bermanfaat, pikiran jadi rileks, dapat mengenal lebih dekat kebudayaan Jepang, selain itu menambah teman baru sambil mempraktekkan bahasa Jepang.

From oshibana class, I get something usefull, and make brain fresh. I enjoy that. The Japanese artform of flower pressing is one good example of a fun, easy and relaxing activity that will immerse you in Japanese culture and art while allowing you to make new friends and practice your Japanese.

Untuk pertama kalinya aku main kerumah Bisma, temen jepang yang nikah dgn orang Pakistan. Jumpa pertama di Akebono Koen, saat itu ada event. Yang menyapa duluan Bisma dengan ucapan Assalamu alaikum. Rupanya dia mudah mengenali dari jilbab yang dipake aku dan Tuti, bahwa kita islam.

First time I came to Bisma House. Bisma is My Japanese Friend’s. She married with Pakistan People. First time I meet her, at Akebono Park. That time at Akebono Koen held some event. First time Bisma said me with assalamu alaikum. Cause me and Tuti (my friend from Indonesia) weared jilbab. Its mean islam people.

Hajimete, Watasiwa Bisma san no uci ikimasita. Bisma san wa nihon no tomodachi. Gosyujin wa pakistan jin.Hajimete ita toki, Akebono Koen de. Sonotoki evento arimas. Bisma san wa Assalamu alaikum to iimasta.  Watasi to Tuti san wa jilbabu kabute hito dakara islam jin toiu imi des.

Bisma, nama yang didapat setelah menikah dengan orang pakistan. Sebetulnya dia punya nama jepang, Junko Deguchi. Bersama suami dan kedua anaknya Alina dan Laila tinggal di apato(rumah yang disewakan) dekat Chou Koen (taman).   

Bisma, that name when she has been maried with husband from Pakistan. Her name in Japanese is Junko Deguchi. She live with husband and her childs, Alina and Laila at apartement near Chuo Park.   

Pakistan jin to kekkon suru node Bisma san no name ni narimasita.Jitsua, Bisma san wa Junko Deguchi san no nihon no namae.Gosyujin to kodomotachi, Alina chan to Laila chan to isyoni apato de sunde imasu. Chou Koen ni, kanojyo no apato ni aru.

Musim semi di jepang udah tiba. Tahun ini bunga sakura agak telat berbunganya. Saat bunga sakura berbunga, orang2 jepang ngadain hanami. Hanami, adalah kumpul bareng2 di taman sambil ngomong2, makan dan minum dibawah pohon sakura. Kadang2 sambil bernyanyi riang gembira menyambut datangnya musim semi. Hanami diadakan kira2 pada bulan Maret, April atau Mei. Biasanya dilakukan siang hari tetapi ada juga yang malam hari.    

April this year in Japan, Spring come.This year, cherry blossom flower so late for bloming. When cherry blossom bloming, Japanese people make hanami. Hanami is gathering together in park, talking, eating and drinking under cherry blossom tree. Sometime singing with happy song cause spring come. They make hanami at March, April or May. In the morning they make hanami, but sometime in the afternoon also make. 

Kotosi, si gatsu ni, haru ni narimasu. Kotosi, sakura ga osoi detemas. Sakura detemas toki, nihon jin wa hanami wo simas. Hanami wa koen de isyoni syabetari, tabetari, nondari. Sakura ki sita de hanami wo simas.Tokidoki uresi uta wo utaimas, dakara haru ga kimas. Itsumo hiru ni, hanami wo simas demo tokidoki yugata ni mo yairimas.

Di saat orang jepang libur golden week di awal bulan mei, aku plus suami barbeque bareng temen2 muslim di Utsunomiya. Sehari sebelumnya belanja dan malamnya daging yang akan dibuat barbeque dipotong kecil2. Motongnya dirumah Muna, temen dari Jordania.

At beginning of May(May3 until May5), that japanese people have golden week holiday, I and my husband made barbeque with muslim friends from Utsunomiya. The day before make barbeque, we shopped and at the night cut meat become slice to prepare  barbeque. We prepare at Muna house, friends from Jordania.

Go gatsu mikka kara itsuka made,golden week de, watasi to syujin to watasitachi tomodachi, Utsunomiya muslim jin wo barbeque simasta. Barbeque no tameni, futsuka no hiru,watasitachi kaimono simasta, sosite yoru niku wo kirimasta.Muna san no uchi de, barbeque wo junbi simasta. Muna san wa Jordan jin.       

Dijepang sudah disediakan tempat barbeque untuk umum, karena enggak bisa sembarangan barbeque. Karena itu, fasilitas untuk barbeque disediakan, tempat yang luas dimana anak2 bisa bermain selagi orang tuanya repot mempersiapkan barbeque. Selain itu kamar mandi darurat juga tersedia dan tempat untuk mencuci alat2  setelah barbeque.

At japan have barbeque facility for public cause we cannot allowed everyplace to make barbeque.　They make facility at width place that children can play when they parents busy to prepare barbeque. Anotherthing, in that place have toilet and place for washing equipment after finished barbeque.

O,ya kita enggak cuman barbeque bareng temen2 Indonesia (Narti dan suami serta Tuti dan suami), tetapi juga temen dari Malaysia (An plus suami), Bangladesh, Oman, Mauritius, Jepang(Bisma, orang jepang yang nikah ama orang pakistan), Jordan (Muna plus suami), Mesir. Rame…………..Di Kinugawa river selain kita, banyak juga orang jepang yang barbeque. 

At barbeque time, participant not only Indonesia people (Narti with family and Tuti with family) but also from Malaysia (An with husband), Bangladesh, Oman, Mauritius, Japan (Bisma that woman married with Pakistan people), Jordania (Muna with family) and Eqypt.
